William E. Jefferson, III, M.D. is a diplomate of the American Board of Pathology with qualification in anatomic and clinical pathology, cytopathology and forensic pathology. Dr. Jefferson received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee’s College of Medicine and completed a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center. He completed a fellowship in forensic pathology at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Jefferson has been a pathologist serving in the Roanoke area for many years, and has been a dedicated member of DPA since it’s inception.
