Kenneth Algino, MD, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pathology with qualification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology. He received his medical degree at Boston University, and then completed a surgery internship at Louisiana State University and a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Tulane University. Dr. Algino also completed a hematopathology fellowship at the University of Texas in San Antonio. His special interests include hematopathology as well as gastrointestinal, breast and placenta pathology.
He is the Chief of Pathology for Carilion Clinic, and he currently serves as the Vice President of Dominion Pathology Associates, and the System Laboratory Medical Director for Quest Diagnostics at Carilion.
